A male rogue will wear dark leather armor with little metal studs all over it, because nothing says "stealth" like a bunch of glittering bits of metal all over the place. Ladies in the same profession lean towards the skin-tight catsuit look, because the first step in being stealthy is apparently to make sure every able-bodied man within a hundred paces is staring at you with his mouth slightly open... It's nice to see that when it comes to apparel, roleplaying games have a lot of equality: Everybody dresses like an idiot.

Then when that doesn't happen, then comes the divorce and the loss of half your ****. The only reprieve is if you haven't had the misfortune of having children before then because they you really get raked over the coals.

However, I guess the most appropriate response would be, and no offense intended....

"Ah... to be young again before getting married and before the divorce when that ***** took half my ****."

I see it a lot, listening to people. Their wives change after they get married. They turn into a completely different monster. For some the kids ruin it. There's too many unhappy marriages.

Actually, that's not entirely true. I could say that was semi-true for the monitors since I wanted them that day rather than wait for Newegg to ship me some...
It could also be said for the case. It was the 3rd or 4th most expensive component part (which is unusual for me since I typically do not spend a lot on a case).

However that entire setup took less than 1/5th of my cash assets. That's ignoring my retirement account and savings account. I had to make some upgrades just to play Battlefield 3 (namely in the CPU and GPU). Those two amounted to about 1/3 of the total component prices. Since a CPU upgrade required me to move to a different socket type that necessitated a new motherboard. Right there I'm at about 50% of the cost. I estimate I'll get about 4 years out of the computer without needing to do any major upgrades. The monitors should last even longer since they're LED rather than LCD. LCDs start to fade after about 5-7 years while LEDs do not.
