These were my votes. It can be elaborated and expounded upon.

I believe Starscream deserves a nomination for Offensive MVP. The bulge they created, and overall effect on the server, its politics and especially its geography cannot be ignored.

edit: here is why Jin (Fireinthehole) gets my vote for offensive MVP:

I have to agree that Fireinthehole (Jin) was the MVP! I was trying to figure out how you can go and take 3 arties in approx. 2 1/2 weeks and come out smelling like roses! And what were they? I know for sure 2 where troops build which made our building of troops amazing. I mean seriously there were times where no one wanted one. lol! It not only immensely helped THC but also put others in a less favorable position.

There were many others that deserve some honorable mention. I'm sure I'll leave some off.

JanBos and Satans Choice for their awesome leadership, and massive EGH's always communicating with fellow members

MJ for his relentless attacking and annoying persona

Karma account for their not only building and EGH but for their relentless attacking, raiding and trying to keep that beast alive.

Uselessium: They were instrumental in so many thing like chiefings and attacks, and undying devotion of stealing resources

Democrazy, DCL & Snowballs account holders they were always there helping others, and also those massive hammers. Doing what THC needed to be done they did it.

Hazel Rah and LeChuck for their spying on the enemy giving us vital info

Antonio: not only was his helping in feeding hammers and WW amazing but his devotion at the WW was truly terrific

Clem: OMG! the man gave up his life to his devotion to feed and send out calls for feeding the WW

Mako: Defensive account was beyond belief. How you can build for the defense that was needed is truly spectacular. Killer was also just as amazing in this area.

All those other Hammers, EGH and those defensive accounts that helped defend were great!

Special consideration to those that still had EGH's as the server ended. I know crone killer was one of those.

Starscream: what can you say but Beast of the east. thank god I wasn't close to them

Storythor. Most offensive/defensive account holder on the server.

and last but not least Queen: If not for her annoying the hell out of me to join THC. I never would've lasted. I heard that about the time she finally twisted my arm? although I was joining eventually lastly I heard that there was a rumor around that I found out just recently that about that time there was a chat session going on as to who in the hell is Chas00? and that if I didn't join there were plans to take me out Needless to say it might have made my game here on S6 a bit shorter.

I'm sure I forgot some and am if I did I'm sorry the whole THC group in all were amazing!

Overall MVP has to be Antonius, for using that 1/2 wheat artifact the way it should be and slaughtering all that tried to take it. I was convinced that the secret was out when Dharma scouted 7K firecats sitting in Anton's feeder, shortly after THC nuked Starscream's capital. But Dharma never went after Withal or the firecats hiding there.

MVP defense was Mak0... always dedicated for being where he needed to be, when he needed to be there. (With honorable mention to Hazel Rah who might have given Mak0 a run for his money, had it not been for those incredibly slow praetorians.)

MVP offense was JanBos (wookie), not because fireinthehole wasn't spectacular, but because so many of our workhorse hammers were spectacular I refuse to pick just one. And because he built a rammer for us, because we so dearly needed another one.

PITA award is a close call between Deakon and Nec_v20. I think Nec_v20 wins, for failing to remain in the alliance, but deserves my admiration for continuing to support the alliance offensively, defensively, and with wheat, even to the end. Thank you Nec_v20.

MVP simmer - Starscream... we really did try to keep up, but you had the trapper advantage, and all our 880 merchants were travelling to the WW with wheat.

I can't say that there is a clear cut MVP. So many did so much, and have to agree with your assessment and of of Nec_v20 one of those I forgot to mention. The only reason I put Jin at the top was his timing for the steals of the arties. It was definitely a defining point in the game. Not only giving THC a big advantage but also a real morale drop for Gharma. But Antonio keeping up with all that he was doing was just as amazing.

I just cant go through any of these and pick out one player for a category except the pita award.

Everyone in THC had a role and played it the best they could. I'm gonna vote MVA and call out THC.

Jin gets my vote for offensive MVP. He took risks and did things without my direction, and accomplished things that i never would have sent a hammer to do, knowing it was walking to its doom...... and he never splatted.

Dharma caught him once, killed half his hammer, and he showed back up to the DD conflict with 73k swords. I mean really, who builds an egh then swings it in cross quad wars? Rockstar/g-status.

    .
Yeah, ironically if Fluffy hadn't knocked the WW back one level, your account would have been the largest on the server, since you had chiefed a large village right close to the countdown. We spent those next 12 hours tearing out all of our flour mills and building up trappers in their place. A level 20 trapper has 53 more pop than a flour mill, so that would have added 2k pop to our totals if we had the time to build them up all the way.

Not sure I like the title of simmer though, as that isn't exactly our style. We just got so big from chiefing anything that looked yummy (which was a full 13 course meal).

I've never been much for population either, as long as, all 5 troop buildings are turning out troops. In fact, I would rather raid and build villages, than chief good farms. Though I realize that your chiefings were more of a tactical matter. More than once we watched your population drop as you had a mate chief you to free up CP and go chief another.

We rose in rank when we first hopped onto the account in February, as our simmer dual was appalled to find villages without completed fields and factories. When he was done "fixing" our inherited account (it had great bones, just needed some paint and polish), we were in the top five of the server, and after installing our typical infrastructure, we were #2. I was content leaving it that way, as Snoballs was #1 and rumors of his art museum were conversations on skype, but deakon ticked me off and I asked the duals if we could take #1 from him. I'm such a spoiled girl... two weeks later we were #1. Then we just kind of stayed there.

Out of the 41 villages that gettertools said that we chiefed, only 3-4 of them were being actively farmed. the rest were war trophies. I just wanted to make sure that was clear...

anyways, my nominations for MVP's are...

Best offensive: machieljs: even though Fireinthehole did more outrageous stunts with his hammer, people in Dharma were more freaked out by incoming from machiel than anyone else, and leadership was actively trying to get defense to places unser attack from machiel, but they still never really stopped him...

Best Defensive: Behind every good offensive player lies awesome defense. Enter in No Life. When he and iampandora defected from DD, I challenged them to step their game up, and they did. Even with their poor cropper capitals, they were able to consistently maintain more than 3:1 level 20 phalanx: pop ratios, and, just as important, when they would lose most of their troops, they had the infastructure in place to retrain all those troops in less than a week. I could go on and on about what these two did to protect my villages, and if even a fraction of Dharma's defensive players had set up their accounts like this, THC wouldn't have walked all over Dharma/GaH.

Best overall: This is a hard segment to nominate someone, as I really can't nominate myself, and I don't feel that anyone is better than me. However, I will pass on props to aroman. He is the only DD player to consistently foil my attempts to chief/farm/cat his account into the ground.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to azuremagician again.

There is one simple change that any hammer could make in order to be more effective. Fake always and often. The lack of fakes this round left me dumb founded. I never walked without lighting up 10-20 caps. In truth, we were lazy. This is the first round that we didnt sync chief fakes on hammers and set land times for multiple fake cap waves.(discounting starscream cap op) I cannot understand why my anvils never had incoming when i did. It seemed, well, just too easy. To all the new hammer players I'll leave you with this. Two years ago, when i was being coached by wookie: "Fakes are expensive? Bet you they are cheaper than rebuilding your hammer."

Agree with this...And by far about Aroman..I honestly forget who it was, but I do believe aroman made the best move of the server when someone in dharma went to chief a village, aroman brought down the loyalty, the dharma player chiefed the village with his hammer, but he dharma players hammer got splatted when aroman hit that village with his hammer 1 second after the village was chiefed..Was a great move

That was 2AA. 2AA would have received my vote 2 months ago, but he picked a fight with the Starscream account, by chiefing a village smack in the middle of our bulge, and then we found out that 2AA didn't match our firepower very well.

and yeah, players in both Dharma and DD never learned the art of faking, or as a former member of my battlegroup phrased it, "azure demands that we sacrifice to the faking gods before every op". My hammers never grew large precisely because I sent so many swords and catapults out as fakes every day. It's just the price you have to pay to run successful ops.

Come now..... fakes do not eat up hammers that bad. Your hammer never got too large cause of my major issue with what you did not do this round....steal that troop build from DD.

What can I say? I didn't realize that village had the small trainer until I had cleared all the troops there and read the report telling me that I couldn't take the artifact because my TC was already full. I was just padding my offensive score by taking out some maces and siege laying around there...

I don't mean when you hit it. I mean you should have gone after it much earlier and.rotated it around your hammers continuously, silly.

and last but not least Queen: If not for her annoying the hell out of me to join THC.

I'm sure I forgot some and am if I did I'm sorry the whole THC group in all were amazing![/QUOTE]

I am so Glad I could persuade you!

What an amazing group to play with.... Lanie, Wookie,SWB Hats off to you all With out you all non of this would have happened
Plus all the other dedicated members of a crazy little alliance called THC that was never even meant to be a real alliance but a means to finnish a Quest. Well was one hell of a quest it turned out to be. Also I would like to mention Siv and Machealsj Because they brought so much talent to the team with bringing in players to fill in on accounts and made them ROCK!!

2AA is one of the most successful scrappy players I've met. Hat's off to him for another solid server. Not many would have lasted as long as he did, after being put through what he dealt with.

I'm not voting for an MVP, by the way.. Think it's kind of silly. You and your dual partners played a good round though.
