Didn't realize MK was playing... makes the choices more difficult... Naw, I'll stick with voting off Blazin.

    FoS: Kabooja
Reason: Bandwagonning with Scarecrow on night 1.
    FoS: Bennedict Arnold
Reason: Bandwagonning with MK, also haven't been impressed with his performance in any rounds I've seen him in so no loss if inno.

Rumors of misdeeds and skulldudggery abounded...all was not well in the glass paradise. A garden meeting was called with the hopes of ferreting out the miscreants. After much back and forth it was decided the No Lynch was the scurrilous culprit and sentenced to the freezing night outside. He was quickly marched to the the portal and booted out to freeze.

As the crowd dispersed, the Praying Mantis tapped FTP on the shoulder and inquired about his health, how was he feeling? leftover ill effects from the flue? In an other part of the garden the Ant was seen chatting amiably to a fellow bug, another small cluster of bugs turned the corner and gasped with horror! Rokchick was found brutally murdered, her beautiful wings torn asunder, Rokchick was the Monarch Butter Fly.

Later that evening in a cozy hidey hole, The Cut Worm, LBAM, the White Fly and the Aphid were enjoying a companionable evening discussing the future and tonight's handy work over a some mulled cider.

    Protect for FTP
Ant is active and in play (which means we need to find them in two rounds or we're statistically likely to see them win)
Mafia killed Rokchik who was the town roleblocker.

    Agreed. On both accounts.

I've my suspicions for who is the doctor. Could be completely wrong though.

Last round, Jacana (doctor) protected Anaxor first night. This round another new player (FTP) gets protected night 1... either Jacana is protecting new players again, cmness is protecting his dual as a new player in this round:

Nah Anaxor was a special case. Jacana knew her personally. I wouldn't put this save in that boat.

So KP's are at 3AM for me. That'll make things interesting.

    Also,
    FOS: Blazin
Reason: Throwing that vote pretty early, for something more suited for a FOS.

He tossed that vote to further reinforce the reason I voted for him.

He's not a good mafia player, so if he's town, it's not a loss to dump him, and if he's mafia, we have to dump him eventually anyways.

Not sure if no lynch night 1 was a good idea, haven't run the numbers for this round yet but it seems to have become a part of the meta for forum run mafia rounds to do that.

Just putting thoughts out there, particularly for those who might not have been knowledgeable about last round. And I didn't even feel suspicious enough about either named player to point a FoS. And like I said in the post, it's just as likely that someone else just followed the same logic in who they tried to save.

I haven't really paid attention to people's play styles and usefulness in games yet (even though I've played a few rounds now). But if you are actually making that statement, rather than just being facetious towards Blazin, then that would fall under the same category as any inactives.

An inactive (or semi-inactive) is not very much use for any reason, early in the game or late. No loss from the (lack of) contribution of an inactive, and nothing to read from people who aren't around much, to determine what roles they might have. So the question is... what is the activity level like at this point? Let's go strictly by post count in this thread to date:

    Before KP-1:
everyone made at least 1 post.
only 1 post by Valy, Mouse-Keyboard, FTP
    most was 6 by kabooja

    Since KP so far:
10 of remaining 14 alive have already posted.

Guess everyone's active this round, that's great!

I believe there was 1 more bit of info in that KP, and that's Flossie confirming that 4 mafia are in play.

it's going to be hard to tell who's mafia this round since the kp doesn't show saves/blocks.

Inactives don't actively hurt town by using faulty logic, playing the game to troll, incompetently exposing town power roles, or incompetently leading lynches against valuable town players.

I voted for you because of all the fingers you have pointed with no reason, that seems suspect. The fact that you consider lynching a townie no big deal is even more suspect considering how early in the game it is. You have mafia written all over you.

Lynching someone who is town, but who plays badly, or in your case only to troll the host, is an acceptable loss. If we don't have anything logical to go on, then the vote should be to mitigate damage. A smart mafia will not eliminate the weak town players, instead allowing them to remain to drag everyone else down and sabotage town from within.

I don't think that is necessarily true. Right now no one is giving away much, hence Sirveri is taking a gamble by voting for someone that could be innocent. We have to take a chance and take risks.

What happens if Blazin is innocent? Do we just end up at square one, minus 2 townies (assuming Mafia kills tonight)?

    More or less Tyman.

    Sirveri mafia hunting is good.
I've no feeling one way or the other when it comes to Blazin.

Ftp's change seemed suspicious but I've done the same in the past as town.

Yes, I changed b/c my first vote was sort of random. Honestly, I don't know. It seems like no one's justifications for their votes are good enough yetSo I ended up going with the one that at least aroused the most suspicion thus far.
