I have to think about it and will update information here. I think a way to get more people engaged is to give people powers. So the super overpowered round, everyone will have a power. It will not be balanced really but could be fun, try to get more people engaged.
This is going to be a pain in the *** for me to keep track of the more people there are, so when Kelsier hosts a round, you get everyone you can involved. Especially one that could get out of hand to keep track.
Premise:
I have to do some research on different types of powers and such but:
- I will have a list of powers for each group. If there are 10+ it would be 2 mafia, 1 independent and 7 town. Will change the number per group if we get a lot more. I will randomly set up the groups as well as have powers listed and randomly assigned. There will be one power per person so when that power is rolled I will remove it from the list. Think it would be too OP to have like 2 doctors and 2 investigators and such. Once I come up with the powers list I will list them in the start up thread and such so you at least know what is out there.
I think, while it may make the round slower, make the "days" 2 days so everyone has time to vote and turn their roles in an such. I do NOT want inactives for this round. You don't have to chat as much as others but you MUST turn in your role.
I want to have bus driver roles and watchers (and others) so there will be a LOT of information for me to track. If joe the bus driver is transporting bill the investigator, chuck the watcher will get that information type stuff. I want the mafia to send someone on the kill so the watcher could see that too. Hard when it is only 2 mafia so hoping for more people but we will see.
Roles available:
Town --
Mayor - Can send in an additional vote once per game. Can stop a lynch once per game.
Knows who the Bodyguard is.
Bodyguard - If the mafia send in a kill on the Mayor, the Bodyguard dies instead. Knows who the Mayor is. The Mayor is then told who the Mafia member was that was sent on the kill.
Detective - Can check one player per night for town/mafia.
Police Officer - Has a 25% chance to kill someone each night that they target.
Psychic - Can investigate one players ROLE per night.
Witness - Can see what one player is doing per night.
Doctor - Can select one player to protect from the mafia kill per night.
Role-blocker - Can send in a role block once per night.
Bus Driver - Can man handle one player per night and move them. If the target of the Bus Driver was targeted for any action, all actions are null.
Bulletproof - Can not be killed at night by the mafia unless the killer is the GF.
Independent --
Hunter - Can send in one kill per night after night 1. Wins if they are able to kill a Mafia and a Towny.
Mafia --
Godfather - Turns up innocent if investigated. Can send in one additional vote per game.
Made Man - Will take a bullet for the Godfather if the GF is targeted with a killing power.
Johnny Tightlips - Can role-block one player per night.
