    1) When the Emperor heard about this event, he was so shaken that he stood butting his head against the walls of his palace, repeatedly shouting: "Give me back my legions!"

    2) This day the most devastating event happened in Rome, and many historians of that time suspected, that it was the Emperor, who started it in order to rebuild the city by his taste.

    3) This decisive naval battle between the forces of Julius Caesar’s ex-supporter and his adopted son marked the transition of Rome from Republic to Empire.

    4) The probable date of the most catastrophic natural event in European history, which caused several Roman settlements to be completely destroyed in one day

    5) This battle is often considered to be the greatest victory of Julius Caesar during the Civil War. This date the Caesar’s legions defeated at least twice outnumbering army of Pompey the Great, making the latter flee to Egypt where he was assassinated.

48 BCE, the Battle of Pharsalus, Caesar defeats the troops of the Roman Senate under the command of Pompey the Great.

31 BCE, the Battle of Actium, naval engagement fought between the fleet of Mark Antony and Cleopatra, and that of Octavian (later known as Augustus) under the command of Marcus Agrippa

9 CE, ambush and defeat of three Roman legions under the command of Publius Quintilius Varus in what is now Teutoberg Forest. The Emperor in question was Augustus.

64 CE, Great Fire of Rome, burns for six days in late July before being brought under control, some blame Emperor Nero.

79 CE, eruption of Mount Vesuvius destroys the towns of Pompeii, Herculanum and several smaller settlements
And now I'll tell you what's against us, an art that's lived for centuries. Go through the years and you will find what's blackened all of history. Against us is the law with its immensity of strength and power - against us is the law! Police know how to make a man a guilty or an innocent. Against us is the power of police! The shameless lies that men have told will ever more be paid in gold - against us is the power of the gold! Against us is racial hatred and the simple fact that we are poor.
