The swastika is reminiscent of a time when racial hatred was taken to an extreme by a political division of a nation. I don't believe it would be good judgement to display one or link to one in your profile or as an avatar.

A swastika does not have to be slanted, it wasn't originally. The ****'s did use a slanted one, however.

TG is German-owned, and anything ****-related is pretty much banned by default. You can check with Fighter, but I'd put money on his answer being that swastikas being inappropriate.

Whilst I can see there are legitimate uses for imagery like this, I don't think any of them are particularly relevant to this forum and so would rather not draw a line that can be blurred. We're far more likely to see abuse than genuine interesting social commentary if we did allow the posting of Swastikas/other such imagery, so we're going to play it safe and say it is banned entirely.
